To change the default printer used for printing documents in Windows 10, go to paper writing the custom page size control, and click on the arrow next to the print button. This will display the options available and let you choose your preferred printer. To change the default printer, visit the Control Panel, and click on Settings, then under Default, select New.

Go to the page setup window to alter your page configuration, sometimes referred to by page coordinates. There will be an option to change the layout of your page that allows you to alter and move the page layout. You can move the slider to one side of the screen, and then change the custom size there. To change the printer driver, go to the device manager. To view the drivers for your printer, click on the section that corresponds with it. Look through the list, and you will see several different devices. Some printers aren’t displaying a driver because they haven’t been updated or their drivers are corrupted. Others, like your Microsoft driver, should be displayed in this section.

Once you have found the device that is being used by your application, look at the properties of the print server. The print server properties column will display the sizes of paper that are available. Often, you can choose one of these options, like “small”, “wide” and “normal”. It is possible that you are unable to change the size of your paper in certain situations. If you cannot select a custom paper size there, then go to the print menu to change the default size.

Click on the “sets” button next to “new size” in the print menu. A new size will be shown and you can alter it by clicking on it. This button is often found in the left-hand corner of the screen. If you find it here you need to click OK to proceed to the next step.

Once you have set the custom paper sizes correctly, you can save the change. The new size will be saved in the driver for the printer. To make sure that the application is properly set up, you will need to load the new driver to your printer. Before proceeding, be sure that the new size is saved in the event that the application was restarted.
